Nifty hits all time high, Sensex gains 1300 points

On 26 July nifty hits new record high after indices snapped five-day losing streak. Nifty was up 428.75 points or 1.76% at 24834.85. Sensex was up 1,292.92 closes at 81,332.72. Today all sectors are in green, Bank Nifty rose 407.20 points to 51295.95, Nifty IT rose 921.90 points to 40977.35, Midcap index rose 1,023 points to 57,768.

Today, Nifty hits new a fresh high closes at 24834.85 was up 1.76% from previous day closing. Today’s top gainers are Shriram Finance, Divis Lab, Tata Power Company, Cipla, Bharti Airtel, Apollo Hospital Enterprise, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Jindal Steel & Power, Adani Enterprises.

Today, the market experienced a significant rally, gaining nearly two percent. The upbeat tone was evident from the start, with substantial buying in heavyweights across various sectors further driving the momentum. Nifty and Sensex closed near all time highs at 24,834 and 81,332.

This jump was fueled by improved sentiment following robust performances in IT and Metal stocks.

The domestic market experienced a substantial rebound on the start of the next month expiry, recovering from the recent losses incurred following the Union budget. This upturn was driven by positive reactions to the better-than-expected US GDP, which augurs well for global demand. Investors are adopting buy on dip strategy, refocusing on quarterly earnings and stock-specific trends. Notably, gains were observed across sectors, with Metals and IT leading, and midcaps outperforming.”
